2. How can ONE individual convince others that he/she has something important to say?
3. Why, even though it is hard, is it important for INDIVIDUALS to get involved in the political/change process in America?
4. Write one paragraph about how YOU would do your best to influence the change you want (use the answers you find in these webquest resources to help you) in AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT ways.
Role:
It takes A LOT to get something changed in the U.S.A., but it is worth it...
As individuals, there are SO many things that we can do to impact how our government funtions, but it is UP TO US to make sure our representatives know what we want (REMEMBER, you are JUST 1 out of about 280,000,000 people- you better yell LOUDLY, huh?!?)! In order to best do your role as an individual who wants change, you MUST answer the following questions ON YOUR OWN paper and share them with your group BEFORE deciding on how best to present your group's side of the issue to the whole class.
Use the resources (internet and books) included herein to help you find the answers to these and other important questions you think of on your own.
